Done With Soccer, On With Surgery!

Well, soccer's over. After a season where I myself feel like I gave it everything I could, and more with the ankle! Haha. I gotta admit, I love my team. :) Sure, we don't quite mesh like Shooters does, but hey, that's High School for ya I guess.
Anyways, we took the 6 hour drive down to Hurricane and played, lost 3-0. Our stupid principal wouldn't let us stay over night. Here's some pictures from that day.. :)
Ankle Tape Before The Game. It only popped out once too!

Oh boy, my mom was so proud of these. Haha.
Kels, Tia. :)

Katrina, Heather. :)
Oh gosh.. Trying to get our feet behind our heads. ;)

Unfortunately we had to stop taking pictures after Mr. Smith yelled at us. Overall, it was an okay season. Hopefully next year we'll make more of it. :)
Anyways, we had last Thursday and Friday off for UEA. I played in a 3v3 tournament with Kenzie and Keely Tuck, that went to a benefit for our old neighbor who got in a motorcycle accident. Our first game, I stepped funny in a hole and felt a couple more tendons go SNAP! Haha. So since they put us in a co-ed league, I called Weston and asked him to come sub for me. And what does he do?.. Pops his knee out again. :( This time most likely means surgery..
Oh yeah! Speaking of the boy.. :)
Here's his reply to MORP. :) I gave him a tub of better, then later gave him some popcorn saying, "Now that I've buttered you up, will you go to MORP with me?"
Haha. Then we decided we aren't going because of his knee.. :) But I loved his reply!
Hmm. What else has been going on? NOTHING! Last night me, my mom, and Leanza went and watched Bonneville play for state. :) They won, 2-0! It was a WAYYY intense game! I miss Shooters. :( Haha. And now I'm motivated to get back into shape as fast as I can after I get released, so I can play with them again as soon as possible. :)

After doing the girls hair because they asked, they wanted to dress up and take pictures.. Haha the sheets were their ideas of dresses. :) Gotta love Sundays!

October 7th, 2010.

Alright, alright. I know it's too soon for an update, but I wanted to post a picture of the ankle because I'm documenting this time better. ;)
One week after I popped it out.. The taping is called KT taping I think. Jeffrey, the trainer at Ben Lomond found a way to tape an injury exactly like mine. :) It's worked out pretty good so far.
Anyways, we played Morgan on Tuesday.. And LOST! It was horrible. And I played like a pansy because I was scared I was going to get hit in my ankle! Haha. But Morgan lost to Bear River today, so Hurricane next Wednesday is still a go! :)
In other news, we took our trip down to Bountiful to meet my newest doctor for the ankle. Surgery's November 4th.. He tried talking me out of playing anymore though! He said eventually my tendon will fray and snap in half. So I didn't play Grantsville today. No more practicing either, just conditioning because that's the only time it doesn't pop out. I'll only play in Hurricane. :) But geez! It's frustrating. Haha. But yeah.. That about covers it.. Enjoy some pictures from our adventure in Morgan on Tuesday.. :)

October 3rd, 2010.

Well... Great news... (Sarcastic voice. Haha)
Scar on the left ankle..
Got another coming on my right here pretty quick.
Yep, I "subluxed" the tendon in my right ankle on September 30th against Bear River. :(
(It would be considered dislocated if I couldn't pop it back in, which I can.)
With five minutes left in the game.. But! We won! So maybe, in a way, maybe.. It was worth it. ;)
But anyways! After my last ankle surgery, I wished I would've kept a better.. Documentation I guess you could say. So now that I've got another chance, I'm going too. ;)
Night I Popped It Out, Swollen! Haha.
3 Days After, Tendon NOT popped out. :)
3 Days after, tendon popped OUT. Weird huh? ;)
But anyways, this year since we've got a HUGE chance at going to state, I'm gonna try and tough it out and keep playing. The day I did it and the day after, it hurt SUPER bad to pop it out and I couldn't walk normal. But yesterday and today it hardly hurts. :) Good sign! Haha. I'm hoping by tomorrow it won't hurt at all and I'll be able to practice.. Since we beat Bear River on Thursday, we play Hurricane first round of the playoff's. Tuesday we play Morgan and Thursday is Grantsville. :) I'm really hoping we've got 3 wins coming our way!

After school on Friday me and Wes hung out for a couple hours before I had to go to soccer. :) I decided I was gonna fix his camera for him since he couldn't. ;) And then we ended up taking pictures. The first one I edited, and it's our Halloween picture! ;) Hahaha. He really is my Best Friend, we do just about everything together. I think he's more worried about my ankle than I am. :) I love the kid to death!

OH! And...
We got a new cat. ;) Well, saved her.. Her name's Blue. :)
