20 Crazy Months, and a very merry Christmas!

So, mine and Wes' 20th month anniversary was on the 23rd of this month. (We're kinda dumb and still count months.. I know). Haha. But! We've almost made it a tradition to go to Christmas Village every December 23rd. Here's some pictures..
The mittens he bought us at the bargain store so we wouldn't freeze! Haha.
He also took me out to eat at TGI Fridays before we went, and after we left Christmas Village, he bought me and him the ice creams shown above.. :)
Christmas was on a budget this year at the Abbott house, but that didn't make it any less merry! I gave my sisters each some feather extensions, a hat, and a scarf. My little brother discovered his video game I bought him, and told him I wouldn't be buying him anything else....... but I caved, and bought him some water marble's. :)
I finally got my long awaited, beloved extensions that I'd been wanting! haha. And scrap booking stuff, and some clothing.
 Extensions!

We spent most of the day at Grandma Abbott's, visiting with the rest of the family when they came and went. :) After we left, I crashed the Leatherow party at Wes' house and enjoyed his family's company.
This year for Christmas, I got Wes....... his LIME GREEN hoodie that he'd been wanting (even though I wasn't a huge fan of it), a deck of cards stating "52 reasons why I love you!", and a pocket knife from me and my dad. My siblings also got him a giant stuffed husky, looking exactly like one he'd been wanting.
Wes made me a wooden soccer ball with pegs on it for me to hang my necklaces from, and Justin Bieber's new Christmas Album! ;)
Overall, it's been a pretty good Christmas break. I've been working like a dog at work, almost every day since I've been off so far. But, I got paid today, and it's been well worth the work! ;)
Happy Holidays!

Our own mini disaster!

Some places have hurricanes.. Others have tornadoes or earth quakes... But not Utah! Nope. We have WIND STORMS! We had one the very first day of December, that was bad enough to keep us out of school. People everywhere lost power, some haven't had it even 24 hours! We lost it for a few hours, but were lucky enough to have it back on by around 5p.m. that day. Here's some pictures that I stole from the Standard Examiner website to show the damage....
And here's one I took myself as we drove past the church on 9th street...
It sure was a crazy day, and made me thankful for good ol' electricity! I don't know what we'd do without it. It was also cool to have something exciting happen to us.. Even if it did cause a lot of destruction.
