Amazing 24th of July weekend!

This past weekend, I took off four days... :) Well, I took school off on Friday, with Wes, to go riding with his family! Minus Shar.. up in Mantua. It was a blast! I'd never been before, and I was so happy that I got to share that experience with them of all people! Here's some pictures of me and the boy.. :)

On Saturday, (the 23rd, our 15 month anniversary!), Wes took me down to the zoo! :) And then after we got done there, we headed down to Cowabunga Bay in Draper. :)

Later that night, we headed up with the family to Tremonton for some fireworks with the Wikstrom's and the Cyper's.

Sunday was a chill day for me, just went to Grandma's for dinner like usual. Monday, I had school off for the 24th, and me and my mom headed down to good ol' SLC for some shopping, and we SCORED! :) I basically have about... No school shopping left to do. Later that night, Wes came over and we watched a movie. 

I've loved about every second of this summer... And am sad to see it getting so close to the end. :(

School!

Here's another quick update about school. :)
We went down to the U of U yesterday. First, we visited to college of pharmacy, and we got to make chapstick! I love mine! Then, we went to the food bank and donated our food (all 860lbs.), then sorted about 2,400lbs.! After that, we went to the State Medical Examiner's office... Umm.. Nah. I won't be doing that again. The smell alone had me seeing in tunnel vision, white as a ghost, and shaky kneed. Here's some pictures from lunch yesterday... :)

So I guess everyone's been doing this thing called "Planking". Basically, you lay across anything you think would be funny, and do it in the position that my boy is in, in this picture? Haha I've seen some really funny ones, so hopefully we'll have some!

And today... Our math teacher, Mr. Dick, (yes his real name), FINALLY demonstrated his "Pizza Hut" dance for us!

The joys of summer!

First day at Weber!

So this summer, I got accepted into a six week program up and Weber State. The perks, you ask? Well, besides getting high school credit ahead of when I'm supposed too, AND being introduced and exposed to about any health related career imaginable, I also get paid 1,200$! ;) It's been SO much fun so far! We've gone up to USU and learned about making things for the disabled, we learned how they determine hearing loss in people, we've gone out to Energy Solutions and learned about nuclear waste and energy, we've visited two cadaver labs, learned body fat percent, gone out to Antelope Island and tested water samples, studied organisms through microscopes, and so on. You get the gist. :) And probably the best part about this whole program... Is doing it with my best friend right by my side. :)

Summer Games!

Summer sure has picked up for me, since the last time I blogged on here. :) I've gone down to summer games, brought home a gold, started my program up at Weber State, made a trip down to Grandma's (and Vegas), and have started soccer conditioning! Busy busy!
So first I'll start with Summer Games...
